This post has been a long time coming. I actually photographed this family last year, and to me it will always be one of my most remembered family sessions….These Molong family photos are going to be treasured for many years to come.

Lat year I got a phone call from my Cath saying that they URGENTLY needed family photos, her father Phil wasn’t well, and could I travel out to Molong that weekend for some family photos. As everyone from far and wide was travelling in to see him. Of course I said not a problem.

So that weekend I travelled out to Molong, and what I got was totally unexpected. Normally when you get larger groups there is a little bit of stress with getting the shot. I had also imagined everyone getting stressed trying to get ready for the photos. But no, I arrived to find everyone in an overwhelmingly happy mood and all set to go!! It was fantastic! They were all so carefree and relaxed, and from the pictures below you see the amazing love that this family have for each other.

They spent time reminiscing and laughing, mucking around, the men had a few beers. We even recreated one of the family photos from when they were younger, which they showed me up at the house before we started. We even finished of the family photos with the adult sibling running around the paddock giving each other piggy back rides… and to top it off we had a gorgeous sunset!

Sadly though in June Phil lost his fight and passed away in June. My heartfelt condolences go out to their family xx
