I was going through my old work and moving files to my archive system, and came across these gorgeous images of Chelsey as a newborn. And it made me think about how much my love of photography and photographing newborns brings to my life. This little girl and her brother came into my studio what seems like a life time ago. And who would of thought then that I would I get to see them almost weekly! My little boy and I have been going to the local playgroup for over a year now, which is where we get to see them. But looking back, it is special to me that I have had the opportunity to capture these images for them and their family. These moments are ones that we will never get back. These are precious times in our lives when they are so small and and rely on us to take care of them. I have been able to watch these two grow, which I admit I don’t get to see of all my clients. But it makes you realise that these images are the windows to our memories…. And it is funny how I look back at these images and remember that she was one of the best sleepers I have ever had for my newborn sessions! Now she is a beautiful little girl who makes me work really hard to get a smile from her!
